Does the door open inward or outward? What is normal?

The idea of rescue would also be important to me. Honestly, I don't understand at all why the building authority even approves a door that opens inward in such a room. They pay attention to so many nonsensical things, but don't place any value on such simple and possibly life-saving matters.

I would do that on the outside too! There's nothing worse than having to dance around the doors in such tiny restrooms inside the room...

Inside. As on the plan. To the wall. It is ergonomically normal.

I also think sliding doors are good. For the WCs and bathrooms, one should ensure that they are lockable (can be unlocked from the outside with a coin) (usually doors without locks are offered) and, if necessary, they should also be soundproof, which is normally not the case with sliding doors.

Definitely inward. Why not? It opens completely!? I've seen much "worse" before.

inwards against the wall. if someone is lying there, you can still somehow get in.
