Do you have experience with the Cisco SG250X-24P-K9-EU switch?

So, in the meantime, all other switches have been removed, the Fritz WLANs are deactivated. Everything runs through the Cisco switch and the UNIFI ACs. The switch has been moved to the rack until the relocation.

I am very satisfied. Next, I will focus on VLANs and network authentication. I can only recommend it to everyone. Try it out before the move. Then you only have to "move" the technology.

Hi,
nice that everything is already running so well. Did you now have a CloudKey or a server on which the Unyfi Controller runs?

Also, I see that you are using this "nice" flat LAN cable. I often had problems getting GBit connections with those before (only 100MBit/s worked). That’s why I basically don’t use them anymore. What is the reason for you using them?

The controller runs on a Windows Server 2016. Depending on which device I operate, I access it via IP or remote. The flat cables are a makeshift solution for the place we currently live. My wife built the apartment in 2010, but didn’t consider a network. Then I came xD Joking aside, since we don’t have network wiring, a few years ago I installed color-matching, narrow cable ducts on the floor-level baseboards. I wanted it to be as invisible as possible. Due to space constraints, I unfortunately had to use the stupid flat cables for the cables... here are the existing baseboards So I "improvised" it like this... That’s why I had to use flat cables In the new building it will be different.

What I unfortunately can no longer adjust is the title of the thread. The 24P became a 48P switch. This gives us a bit more room to grow.
