Do Ikea Faktum cabinets fit with new IKEA LIDINGÖ doors?

do the current doors fit onto the cabinets from the 1990s without any issues? Even on the corner cabinet? Regarding the drawers, I found a note while googling that the bottom used to be guided into a milled groove on the inside of the drawer front. Apparently not anymore nowadays, so the entire drawer would have to be replaced? What about the fittings - the position of the hinge holes, etc.?

Has anyone here had experience with such a retrofit and tips on what to watch out for?

hello, with my kitchen from 1996, the carcasses are the same as today. basically, everything should fit. if you don’t want to replace the drawers with the fronts, then the groove for the bottom would have to be milled. since the very old drawers ran terribly badly, you will probably want to replace them anyway. if you have a 50 cm wide drawer, you will not get a new front for it. unfortunately, this was taken out of the range years ago. the hinge drillings have not changed.

Now I am somewhat confident that the conversion won’t be a fiasco. :) We still have the old Hettich hinges in there and will probably replace them on this occasion - with a unit price of 2.69 EUR for a "Blum hinge cup with BLUMOTION 110°" on eBay or at McBeschlaege.de, that’s still the smallest cost factor in the kitchen update... One thing comes to mind if you want to keep your old drawers, there was a change in the drilling, so you have to transfer the old drilling to the new drawer fronts.
