Divide the property due to inheritance, survey it, register it in the land registry, and build on it.

Of course, I did ask my dentist as well, but he does not offer something like that.

more meant whether you also ask your dentist when your knee hurts. Both have something to do with doctors anyway . If you want to split the area 50:50 purely, consider whether the existing house still has any residual value. Otherwise, one half is more valuable and gift tax between siblings may apply - there is only a €20,000 exemption.

I strongly suspect that "Maurer" is a simple linguistic simplification of a construction contractor / [GU]... in other words, someone from whom most people who build without an architect get their floor plan.

I also say "plumber" for the GWS installer - but an input planning in GU quality still astonishes me when on the other hand 1200 sqm of building land is mentioned. That rather speaks for a house for which one treats oneself to a trained planner. A "bricklayer" - even if he drives the fatter Mercedes than the architect - is not trained to wash my head when my Sweet-Home sketch is unfortunately botched. The GU application draftsman has a different approach, which simply is: "make sure the stamp goes on it, we want to stir the pot".

Thanks for asking. As for the inheritance / taxes etc., that was clarified with the family’s tax advisor and my former lecturer (who is, among other things, with Haus und Grund). Since there will probably still be inquiries, here are some examples: Brother already received an apartment earlier. Dad still has a compulsory portion which I will take over, and Dad will be cared for in the future as well. Fortunately, we did not fall out over the inheritance.

The local "bricklayer" was, firstly, the only one last year who did not send me away with loud laughter because I was not willing to pay an 800% surcharge. Due to the construction boom in Munich, none of the others need to do so. Secondly, he is quite qualified to create a plan as a concrete master builder plus business economist. He does tell me based on his experience what would be better or worse, which is why I am already on the third draft.
