hello,
finally, after some small problems (for example, the drawer doesn't fit under the oven, paid for nothing, had to make a panel...) my kitchen is now set up. I just had the dishwasher connected and wanted to run it,
but the upper basket does not pull out. is there a safety lock that must be released first? I found nothing in the manual. the upper fan arm hanging under the basket is connected at the back to the water pipe that leads down to the arm, firmly connected, and normally the arm should sit under the basket and the end only lead to the pipe hole in the wall for pulling in and out.. who can help me... would like to wash dishes..

Hi,

I suspect you simply grabbed the wrong drawer for the stove. These are shallower than the regular ones. Possibly, you installed the stove drawer elsewhere and then had a regular one left over.

For the dishwasher, I would ask you for a photo, your explanation unfortunately doesn’t help.

Have exactly the same problem!!! Yesterday the kitchen was installed. What is the solution for this? I would be very happy about an answer. Best regards, Nadine

Heyhey,

here the same problem.... The installer (from the expensive company which Ikea directly arranges, 150€/meter kitchen) apparently did a test run but did not remove all the styrofoam parts.

The lower compartment was easy to put into operation by removing two styrofoam parts and two plastic clips. In the upper one there is a white plastic cuff hanging on the inlet pipe of the swivel arm, left and right with very flexible plastic grooves on the upper metal basket...

the others, HOW did you get this under control?? Apparently many here had this (undocumented in the manual - Hello, are you serious IKEA?!) problem..

This thread is, as usual, typical forum: everyone writes about the problem but once the solution is there it's no longer worth mentioning. In computer forums you can more often find the solution because more nerds are writing who document thoroughly.

...or have you all only used the lower compartment so far, and NEVER put the upper one into operation again?! What a state this is

If it only seems to hang at the back, I would try pulling the basket firmly. But I generally would not recommend that. Otherwise, just ask [Electrolux Customer Service].
