Something else to keep in mind is the installation of the bathroom mirror. Our 2x1m mirror was glued with pads (you can think of it like double-sided tape). Usually, nothing is drilled or screwed. Such a thing only holds on a surface without texture.

However, I wouldn't have any concerns with the model from post #5.

I wouldn’t either, calculation-wise. But they are said to be very prone to dust and I am very picky.. I know that I would be very, very annoyed because I would constantly be looking at it..

We have said goodbye to the textured tiles and will have the selected tile in the format 60 x 60 laid as floor and wall tiles, 120 cm high, shower floor-to-ceiling. Wall only where there are sanitary fixtures. Everything else will remain tile-free.

I meant the white contoured ones, not the rough gray ones for the floor. 60x60 120 high means two pieces high. Ouch, that will look very unusual. Compared to a kalk edge, that would look more like a beam than a thorn in the eye. Better to do 60x30 on the wall and stagger the joints at the floor/wall transition by half a step* or change the color tone. And also think about the smooth transition between tile tone and plaster tone. *) or the laying direction: diagonal on the floor

Yes, those are the ones I meant too, a lady (customer) told me that at the hardware store on Saturday when I was admiring the tiles..

It should look like in post 9. I have also seen that on many online profiles and so far I liked it. The lady at the tile sample consultation simulated it for us, and somehow it didn’t look so nice with the 60 x 30 tiles.

I still have a bit of time.. I’m probably not seeing the forest for the trees anymore..

That has definitely caught my attention :) Yes, of course that works too: it's more like 110 than 120 high, and therefore not 2.0 x the element height overall ...
