What you can particularly see in the picture from post 9 is that you should make the effort to develop a tile laying plan for the 60x60 tiles. I find that one very well done.

Do you use the same tile for floor and walls?

Yes, we have that in the apartment as well and we like it. However, we chose lighter tiles.

At first, I wanted to create accents with vintage tiles, but then I feared I would quickly get tired of them. Textured tiles are out for me for the same reason + maintenance effort.
A friend has beige tiles with grooves, which look a bit like wood. It looks great, but since she also has them in the shower, lime scale and dust unfortunately stick in there. I already have no time for anything, so I definitely don’t want to be cleaning tiles ;-)

Well, they are beige... so it doesn't show that much. But you shouldn't look too closely ;)

Hello everyone, we would like to have one wall in our bathroom, the one where our washbasin is mounted, tiled with a different tile than our regular tiles. And preferably up to the ceiling. (All other walls should have as few tiles as possible) So show us your structured, patterned, or 3D tiles :)

Would an alternative also be a "glass panel" with a printed motif? That's what's on my mind right now instead of tiles. I don't like tiles on walls that much and, like you, try to minimize them. With printed glass panels, there are almost all kinds of motifs available and you can also use your own designs; maintenance is like with a mirror. They don't seem to be very expensive and are probably easy to replace after a few years. So I haven't answered your question directly, but maybe it was still helpful.
