Do you have the product name of the insulation? Then one could check if that is correct. But 50% more insulation should have so little effect? I am a bit of an expert, but I feel confused.

What are the 225sqm in your calculation? The insulated exterior surface or the living area?

The 225 sqm is the living area.

Listed was "EPS-Dämmplatte WLG 034 o.glw".

I was told that the explanation is the system technology – since it disproportionately affects the values, the insulation doesn't really make a difference.

You do not have to take the living area, but the wall area that is covered with insulation. For example, if you have a house wall with 10m length and 3m height, it is 30 sqm. You must calculate it this way for all other exterior walls as well and then add them up.

Thanks for the info.

Then I can take the 237 sqm - that's the quantity from the tender, right?

Correct. Your heat pump has 10.4 kW. That is quite a lot. I am also currently planning and was offered a modulating heat pump with a max of 12 kW and a borehole for 11 kW. I did some calculations and came up with a heating load of just under 5 kW! Heating engineers apparently like to play it safe.

I did a rough calculation. With reserve for hot water and my wife being known to be sensitive to cold, that should be fine - I come to just under 8 KW - 7.6 would be too tight for me.

The drilling was reduced from 2x90 to 2x80. I would have preferred 1 deep one, but that’s not possible here (Water protection IIIA and not so productive).
