Why? We currently have fleece in our condominium and it is really great. Very durable, nice corner edges. We will do it the same way in the house? Or to put it differently, why wouldn’t someone do it?

I hardly know anyone who still wallpapers because they don’t like it. [Raufaser] had its time, [Glasfaser] had its time, photo wallpaper had its time, non-woven wallpaper has its time. And some do this or that, but “currently people (actually) don’t wallpaper.”
In general, we live in a time where everyone does what they like and want, without conforming to a trend. Only usually our taste is influenced from outside.
If you leave off the wallpaper, you have to expect that cracks will be visible. Do you have a ventilation system? Then I wouldn’t worry. I can’t imagine that the carrier layer of [Raufaser] should somehow hinder the moisture flow... it’s just fiber after all?!
