Cost of electric roller shutters for an entire single-family house

With us, the developer charged an extra €6250 for 10 windows for the electric shutters - with 2* manual opening options for emergency exit, without central control (I will convert it myself later with Shellys or something)

A good example of why developer / general contractor contracts, in my opinion, have a worse price/performance ratio than building with architects. The price is an absolute outrage, the material probably costs 1/10 of the quoted price. Then you still have to lay 10 cables and install switches...

So I also find the comfort gain through electric roller shutters enormous, and would not want to do without them anymore. If I imagine having to crank or use strap rollers every morning and every evening. Besides, the straps also wear out - depending on careful handling or express-bang operation. Another argument is the non-existent thermal bridge with electric roller shutters. At our place, all are controlled via FHEM and automatically provide shading in summer - which can also be done manually only with great effort (and you have to be at home).
