Correct sink choice for base cabinet (160 cm)

So I really appreciate you. But how you can like Godmorgon so much and rave about Metod at the same time, that doesn’t make sense to me. I believe you experience it that way, but I have had exactly the opposite experience. The Godmorgon panels are much thinner and lighter! Are you sure you have Metod and not perhaps Enhet?

For a double sink, I would not choose two countertop basins. We were able to test this during our vacation in the holiday home, and we were not impressed because the cleaning effort is really annoying. It looks nice, but our experience prevented us from considering this design for our renovation. Most likely, we will now have a wide sink with two faucets. We just don’t know yet whether it will be the countertop or undermount version. The homeowner would prefer a single sink anyway, as she doesn’t like sharing the bathroom and it is foreseeable that the child will soon want more privacy. This could be a compromise for us.

Because the water always splashes everything to the left and right of the sink? But don't you have the same problem with a large sink as well?

Oh, maybe I should have mentioned that we had put a solid oak panel on Godmorgon. These thin panels are of course crap, I totally agree with you there. I just found the drawer cabinet itself pretty good. Maybe they have gotten worse too? Mine was from 2020. And yes, we definitely have Metod here. But not an “expensive” Metod either, that probably also influences perception. Cabinets with doors are always more annoying than ones with drawers, the manufacturer probably plays little role there.

I don't know if you can already receive a private message, but we chose the furniture from the brand Tikamoon. We have the Jakob series, which is simple. But there are many others as well. I can tell you next week whether they look as good in real life, that's when ours will be delivered.
