Ah, you're right. I saw the 6.09 as part of the 14 because the blue of the building envelope obscured the dimension marking. All right!

Fill this wish with content. How much garden do you really want in full sun exposure and for what purpose? Almost everyone (still) wants a south-facing location, because for generations that was considered ideal. I would reconsider how well this fits with the increase in heat days, during which people seek shade and cooling. Additionally: many people live in summer with closed doors in shaded or air-conditioned modern houses, because once the heat is inside, it is no longer easy to get it out of these houses. I myself am quite a fan of a south-facing location, but I now know many who fulfilled this dream in the past 10-20 years and today would prefer to do it differently.

Clarifying the matter should not be the warm-up exercise of the participants in the discussion, but is the obligation of the questioner (who failed to address the already existing follow-up questions during a subsequent visit). Many questioners do not behave appropriately according to their role as the primary stakeholders in getting an answer. This is very detrimental to the joy of helping.

Good morning, please excuse my late reply. So the property is about 630 sqm. It is composed of two parts, just as motorradsilke has drawn it. The property is accessible from two sides – from the west, the arrow points to the "private road," or from the south. Carport and storage rooms must be located within the building window – dashed in blue.

In the planning, the house is approximately square, 11x10m. As a gable roof (max 35 degrees) - ridge orientation according to the building plan in an east-west direction. There should be two full floors and the attic used as living space for a study and possibly a children's room.

Whereas on the ground floor the living rooms should be on the south side (living room, dining, kitchen). The original plan was that the carport and storage room would be placed in the "corner" with the hook, and the house would then be shifted roughly in this direction. This would create a garden in the southwest.

Since this plan does not work, this is the basic reason for the question here... so where should the carport, storage be placed so that the house entrance results from this and the following rooms arise.

I hope I have covered all questions. I will keep a better eye on the thread. Thanks for your ideas.

Unfortunately, the posts can no longer be edited, so here are some pictures from the draft to make it easier to understand.

The version with the carport in front of the house with the passage between the cars was a quick decision after realizing that the carport could not stand as originally planned. I consider it impractical in combination with children.

I hope you can understand my description with the plans :-D
