At least decent parquet can then be sanded and sealed once. Other coverings (vinyl, laminate, cork) have to be completely removed!

Is that really any consolation? Personally, I would first bridge the IDE Rowdi phase of the younger children with something cheap and then treat myself to something nice. But everyone sees that differently.
In this case, unfortunately, the scratches are so deep that sanding would really hurt. But well, which child would already draw the track on the floor with a screwdriver.

We have solid wood floorboards in the children's rooms. Don't worry about that either. It also has something to do with upbringing.

And now the question:
Do the affected friends think it’s good that the daughter’s free spirit has won, or are they absolutely furious?

Parenting ... yes, but the first time is just the first time. As if the little one had already messed up the parquet before. Never had situations that weren’t there before and were unexpected?

We are parquet fans and I also consider continuous floor coverings to be high quality. So I don’t like this mix, it feels like a rental apartment. But with kids, it’s really a different matter. If they were older, I would immediately put the parquet into the KZ as well.

But honestly, a child would always come up with something quirky [emoji13] ... normal is something else.

Every few weeks the same. We have had parquet flooring in the children's room for 4 years. Apart from the scratches we caused ourselves, there is nothing. Despite Lego, Bobbycar and co.
