Just get an additional filter box for the activated carbon filters, the manufacturer doesn’t matter, it just shouldn’t have only a 100mm pipe connection. The filters can also be made in almost any size (usually costs less than the original ones).

Now I have to ask really stupidly: Is it really that simple?? Just put a box in between and that's it? o_O

I would personally probably also rely more on third-party solutions regarding the activated carbon filters, if they even become necessary. However, I cannot ultimately say anything about this due to lack of practical experience... Just a note regarding possible [BAFA funding].... if this should be relevant, do not forget to consider that the heating system must be able to "communicate" with the ventilation in order to be eligible for funding as a package. At least that is my old understanding :(

Basically interesting, which is why I am looking forward to the response, but irrelevant for us since we do not receive any funding. But why should the two be able to communicate with each other? I believe this is exactly the crux of the matter with the Vaillant system, as I think I have read here in the forum...

Yes, it's really that simple, crazy what kind of margins companies take for something like that, right!
Whether it has to be exactly this one (I'm more in favor of metal housings, which you then insulate). It's the same with controlled residential ventilation—if you have some handyman skills, you can easily save in the mid four-figure range without losing quality. But you should deal with it beforehand so you know what to expect and what "rules" to follow.

Why actually insulate?

Doesn't one save that with this other box?
