Oh, that is much worse than what Fraunhofer found.
They reported an average degradation of 0.15% per year!

Are you sure nothing is simply broken with yours?

I have a system here that will fall out of funding in two years. It had its record years in 2015 and 2018. So it doesn't seem to be really degraded. And also the other systems that were built around that time here (everyone in the village still knew each other back then ;-) have been running without problems so far.

I think it’s pretty cool how people make excuses. There is a subsidy for a product that has great benefits for yourself AND for the environment that covers over 100% of the product cost. Completely. Entirely. Most of the time even with a PROFIT! But no! It should be more!!!

And the subsidy then even feels like a "joke"...

I really don’t get it.

When there are subsidies, the prices of photovoltaic systems also rise.

But I still have to pay back the loan/financing. I first have to have the money available monthly for that. In our offer, it would have had to be 400€ per month, the subsidy would have been 2k€, with costs for the system of 18k (without storage, which I think was 15kWh). That’s not feasible in our situation, or we would have had to restrict ourselves too much. The photovoltaic system then isn’t worth it to me. That it pays off in the long run... yes. But the current account balance just doesn’t care about that.

Once again, very simply:
you get the money from the KFW, you can repay it over 20 years.
For say 15k for a photovoltaic system, that’s not even 70€ per month.
If you now get 70€ feed-in tariff or save that much on electricity costs, you have the system completely free, without having to spend a cent of your own money.
Systems for 1000€/kWp are definitely possible, so we’re talking about 15kWp here, with good orientation about 15mWh per year, so with the current compensation about 90€/month. With appropriate self-consumption even more.

So where exactly is the financial problem, what other subsidies and aid should there be?

Yes, you must not have paid too much for the system.
And if it is really financially critical, one should also consider appropriate insurance.
