And where are the outdoor facilities? The money that you cannot take up now, you will never have.

Outdoor area should be done after 1 2 years ([Steuererklärung] e.g.) :)

That doesn't work. Those are reserves that are used for other things.
The terrace should be proper, and then there's also the splash guard around the house. That also needs to be proper.

What isn’t done now will eat a hole in your pocket every year. You won’t even be able to keep track of all the costs that come up.
That’s what you call "overextending yourself."

Hm why do people plan like that... you take everything you need, all together - we had individual contracts and I got quotes for the planning from all trades including the terrace roofing and all outdoor facilities including perennial beds. Some might find that exaggerated, but we wanted to see what the desired would cost and whether we could afford it. I will do outdoor areas like perennials and more myself, of course, but that also costs... So far we have almost stayed within budget, no surprising items have come up. If I had noticed earlier that the sum would be too high, we would have built smaller instead of being able to tackle paving and greenery only years later. But everyone has to decide for themselves. However, I also find 230 thousand rather tight for 2 full floors. What kind of roof is supposed to go on?

Ok, maybe I am underestimating it. But what kind of costs will there be in the first few years?
