That's right, but it's best to change the tax class 7 months before birth, then the parental allowance will be higher.

Because she also has no income in the second year. But only one year is being planned here.

I don't think that has the desired effect. We had to submit the salary statements for all 12 months. I also read something like the tax class that was predominantly in place during the observation period counts, but I'm not so sure about that. My wife has class 3 anyway and will keep it that way.

When you are at the maximum, it doesn't matter anyway. At the latest with the tax return, everything balances out.

That is not true!

For the first child, one parent's rate is 50% own contribution insurance. So the PKV costs increase by a 20% share for the PKV concluded for the child. Children are entitled to 80% aid. From the second child onwards, the parent's PKV share is reduced to 30%. Plus twice 20% for two children. The costs of child support do not compensate for this at all.

Civil servants have the same child care days as employees, but no entitlement to household help in case of illness.

Parental leave can be extended up to 18 years. Of course, there is no salary during this time. Maternity leave is identical to that of employees.

At least this is how it looks at the federal level.

To what extent are the two teacher DPs secured locally?

And my post (see first quote) still stands!
No idea what possessed the architect to give such a price forecast... I’m also not exactly the kind of person who can estimate house costs off the cuff like .
But I see the slope, which requires immense earthworks, underpinning, access roads and drainage (no idea if the terms are spot on here), and I see a house like Davinci or Huf, whose price range starts at 500,000. (just googled from 350,000? in small?)
plus a two-story basement... a dream plot looks different, maybe it is the location that is presented here as optimal, plus adequate fittings (pleated blinds, no cheap kitchen, immense number of spotlights, ...)
I’m assuming a cautious calculation by an architect who likes to take on a challenge – even if it means telling the builder that he’s miscalculated by almost 100,000.

Posts like in #61 I find somewhat sad: there calculations are made and planned scenarios are used instead of establishing a healthy actual calculation.
