- Private health insurance was supplemented by the child contribution (the result of the calculation came by phone today: about €30-40 per child) So I am calculating a total of €40.
Then why do we pay €160 per child (minimum rate)??? Presumably, exactly such idiots on the phone gave you this information, who told me at AOK and my private health insurance that in case of illness AOK (statutory) covers the costs? In practice, however, it is like this: Neither of the two insurances pays if my wife stays at home with a sick child. In other words: 0 income. 100% loss of my wife’s income for every day the child is home (sick).
About €900 vaccination costs in the first year of life, which the private health insurance also did not pay (despite €160 monthly!).
Private health insurance is soooo great!!!
