So we received a very thick folder after the draft from the main contractor for the building application was prepared with the static calculation and the reinforcement plans.

First, the structural calculation of the house and then the instructions: This much steel must go in these directions so that the house does not break apart. Pages of paper with many thin lines for the reinforcement mats, etc.

It has to be done anyway for the craftsmen on site, so we got a copy right away. I mean, I once had to calculate some simple trusses in my studies, but that didn’t help me much, more than understanding approaches from the drawings. But I would take a look there for your questions to see if I can find matches between theory and practice.

Something like that could be requested from the main contractor; after all, you paid for it, I think.

Purely based on the description so far, I don't believe that this [GU] releases such plans or has even commissioned them.

I have received the calculations for statics and thermal analysis.

"Pos. 20 Base slab
A continuous reinforced ground slab will be constructed over the entire foundation level area.
The slab is to be at least 25cm thick.
The slab is to be reinforced at the top and bottom with one layer of Q335A mats.
The specifications in the soil report regarding ground preparation must be strictly observed."

Why not?
It is mandatory. Otherwise, there is no building permit.

I mean reinforcement plans. The structural engineer only provides a statement regarding the proof of structural stability.

I overlooked that the expert opinion was requested afterwards. Ask him about their opinion on the dimpled membrane as a sliding layer under the floor slab. I read in another forum that it might not be so optimal. Maybe can also say something about it!?
