Well, you competent layman! If you knew what you were talking about, you wouldn't write such nonsense. 1. Plettac is an originally German company that went bankrupt ages ago and was taken over by a French company. Today it is completely healthy. 2. The scaffold I mentioned as an example probably comes from Brandenburg (that's where production is). All building authority approvals are available. By the way, you can also get them from Plettac. They will gladly send them to you by email for the mentioned SL 70.

Oh, by the way, I just got a message from the site manager. The company will cover the costs incurred. It’s definitely worth asking and putting a bit of pressure on. Enjoy yourselves, all you yes-men here who prefer to let everything happen to them because they’re afraid they have no rights anyway.

So I have now leisurely read through the entire thread, but towards the end I am almost about to blow my top. You come here to the forum with no introduction of yourself, no project presentation, nothing..... Your only previous posts are in this single thread..... ever heard of respect? And that you have to earn respect (especially) in a forum like this first? Well, probably the manners in Berlin really are going down the drain right now.....

But honestly, what have you accomplished, contributed, or brought in here that allows you to attack long-standing members and other users so severely although everyone just wants to help? Exactly......NOTHING! Even though I don't want to stoop to that level myself, that had to come out now. For my part, I very much appreciate the quality of the statements from Nordanney, Zaba, HayDee, and others. They may sometimes hurt, but only then is the learning effect greatest.

With that said,

At your place, the site manager makes cost decisions himself? Wow, our site manager coordinates the companies, reports identified defects to the firms, and organizes the construction process. For change orders, additional/reduced costs, etc., there are employees at the general contractor who do nothing else. Your site manager is truly a real all-rounder.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the ceiling is delivered on [29.08.].

I also think that 1000 euros for three weeks is too much.
I know two people who have scaffolding at home and only rent it out all year round.
But if I remember correctly, they charge about 500 euros for four weeks.
Well, an additional thousand euros is not easy when everything is already planned... maybe there was a lack of communication between you two.

And honestly, when it comes to "losing one's temper," others should also read their posts again. Not just the OP; in my opinion, he was only reacting here.
I think it's good that you do a lot yourself. If you had written that you financed 600,000 and gave everything to a botched company, everyone here would have been all fired up again right away.
When you sit in the same sinking ship, it’s more comfortable to toast together.
