For a life-phase modular house like this, I consider it sensible to already design it in the "fully developed" stage, i.e., to postpone only later CONSTRUCTION phases, but not later PLANNING phases.
Of course, it is difficult to predict at 25 whether you will later end up with a wife who wants a kitchen island or whether the walk-in closet is more important to her than the open fireplace.
One can only say relatively safely that a cohabiting woman reshuffles the priorities of living: the short distance between microwave and Playstation as a high-ranking planning goal then becomes obsolete.
