I already said, the attachment should be inclined into the slope. Setting it upright like a tin soldier seems naive to me.

....not necessarily, because then the reinforcement is not continuous. But what does say about it, he has already tested it?

Not directly, but practically yes - because it runs with the steps across the entire flight.

As mentioned before, a straight wall is no problem.

As described in a processing manual published by one of the training stones, it is stated there up to which height which stone width is necessary.

Also how the foundation must be designed; and what reinforcement is necessary.

Only the question whether to build up to 2m; or whether one would slope off a bit for material and time reasons I would still ask myself.

So, I have now taken some photos and tried to paint them understandably

I hope you can get an idea of how it currently is.
I have labeled the pictures accordingly

As mentioned, all the trees are to be removed.
With the option of the smaller wall and the steepest possible slope, the idea would be to cover the slope with fast-growing privacy screening, like laurel shrubs or something similar, with just enough space behind them for me to access for trimming and so that the roots don't possibly damage the wall.
However, I haven't made any concrete decisions about the type of privacy planting yet, so please don't criticize immediately if laurel is a bad choice because the root system might possibly damage walls

For a wall that is supported on one side and free-standing on the other, "vertical" is recommended there ? ? ?

Um, ... how about if you just... ... think about it once more?

It seems to me your problem would be solved without any masonry at all – just pruning instead of felling.
