This is how the principle looks here... I am also a layman and have no idea about it, but somehow I have the feeling that we are being screwed!The configuration as I know it: Heat pump owned by the network operator. Network not a ring circuit, but supply and return flow, i.e. tree topology. Supply comes with a "higher" temperature, heat pump draws energy and sends the lower supply back to the primary side generator. If the operator now obtains photovoltaic power from the customer, (according to my layman’s understanding) the Renewable Energy Act applies.
