We are with 1&1. Price is okay, performance is also okay, only the service, when something is wrong, is really bad. I spent hours, if not days, with the service hotline and the technician before and during the construction, because we had a disruption in our old apartment and were trying to manage the move to the new building at the same time. The lines belong to Telekom and as soon as there is a disruption, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and one blames the other for the problem. We had a Telekom technician in the house 4 times. Only the 4th technician was able to determine after weeks that the supply line to the house was defective due to a lightning strike. That was shortly before the move. For the new house, none of the 1&1 staff could ever tell us whether we could get DSL. At the same time, they don't let you out of the old contract either. :( In the end, everything worked out.
