We have cable DSL with unitymedia. We are very satisfied, both with the speed (200,000) and the stability, as we haven't had any disruptions in 4 years. The price is also okay at just under 50 euros; it includes 3 landline numbers and 2 telephone lines (with flat rate).

We would also like to have the cables back later, as we are still in the shell construction phase. But since the order was placed at the beginning of August and after asking twice, the empty conduit is still there without anyone having contacted us. Since the merger with UM, it's really become a complete mess...

Hello,

we have had very positive experiences with Rosa Riesen.

Our house connection could not be installed by the network operator because our house line was still a truly "antique" model with paper insulation (!!!).

Telekom then responded very promptly and installed the connection directly into the house.

After we moved in, it unfortunately turned out that this very "antique" line had a kink, which repeatedly caused DSL dropouts and humming interference noises on the telephone line.

Telekom then sent a measurement team who determined that the kink was still on our property, and two days later an excavator was at the door, dug up the line again, and replaced the damaged section.

The whole thing did not cost us a euro, although it was not entirely clear who caused the kink – we found that very accommodating.

For three weeks now, we have also had the long-awaited upgrade to DSL with 25 MBit, as well as an additional telephone line and two more phone numbers activated.

Regards,

Dirk

We are with 1&1. Price is okay, performance is also okay, only the service, when something is wrong, is really bad. I spent hours, if not days, with the service hotline and the technician before and during the construction, because we had a disruption in our old apartment and were trying to manage the move to the new building at the same time. The lines belong to Telekom and as soon as there is a disruption, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and one blames the other for the problem. We had a Telekom technician in the house 4 times. Only the 4th technician was able to determine after weeks that the supply line to the house was defective due to a lightning strike. That was shortly before the move. For the new house, none of the 1&1 staff could ever tell us whether we could get DSL. At the same time, they don't let you out of the old contract either. :( In the end, everything worked out.

We switched to 1&1 a year ago as well and are very satisfied with it. The speed is great and the prices are of course unbeatable compared to certain other providers.

1und1 is good until you cancel..

My experience!
Cancelled in the online portal, confirmation faxed, that was still in 2007. And on 31.10 the line was dead. Switching to o2 was not possible because the line was still occupied by 1und1. At the end of December suddenly received a bill for 10 euros for 1 move. I called immediately and asked what that was about. The statement on the phone was that I had only moved :-) I explained that this was not the case. Then 1 month of silence and suddenly another reminder for December.. it went so far that in July I had a bill from Credirefom for 180 euros.

In the meantime, always in contact with 1und1. Unfortunately, the only proof I had was the fax confirmation.

As much as went wrong with that company at the time, I was not surprised that shortly afterwards an image campaign aired on TV.
