Hello!
First, I want to apologize for my German, but I have been living in this beautiful country for almost a year.
We are currently planning our new Ikea kitchen. Two months ago, we had to replace the washing machine and bought a washer-dryer. It fits perfectly in our current kitchen, but we do not know if the same will be true for our new Ikea kitchen.
The device has the following dimensions: 59.5 cm wide x 53.7 cm deep x 82-90 cm high (the height can be adjusted).
Our kitchen layout will be L-shaped, and the washer-dryer will be located at the end of one side. We will not hide the device behind a door. In my opinion, the problem can only be with the height, because we would basically just place the device between the last corpus and a side panel. The countertop above the washer-dryer will probably need to be supported at the wall and the side panel. Are our considerations correct?
Another solution would be to integrate the washing machine into a 60x60x80 cm corpus (that would be optimal, since we wouldn't have to worry much about the plinth), and the device could even be hidden behind a door. However, we suspect that this will not fit because of the device's height.
Does anyone have experience with this or can recommend something? Thank you very much!
Best regards,
Agustín
