Build new or buy an old house?

You always only write 70,000/75,000 euros for land in option 1 (i.e. new build) .... how many square meters would that be? Because the just over 800 sqm in the "old building" are also a nice size.

What we have in mind would have 790 sqm. For the same size and a similar price, we would have to extend our search to other locations, which in turn entails higher fuel costs, etc.

We would want to keep the kitchen right away if the price is right, but the rest doesn't necessarily have to be. If the price is right, you can also make use of a shower and a sauna.

It's only about the basics. If the price is OK, I would want to take it on as well. Only my feeling is that they want to make a profit on it.

That's exactly how it looks.

The kitchen could have real wood fronts, check carefully whether it is really real wood or foil. Appliances need to be checked.. Oven seems to be Miele. If the current owners are as neat with their paperwork as they apparently were with the house, they will also be able to show the invoice for the kitchen as proof of its age. I would ask about that. This also applies to the other features.

EDIT: I really like the sauna with the glass walls, for example.
