We have normal roller shutters that are all electrically operated. (Raffstores were not possible, all houses should look the same from the outside)

Yes, when it comes to the window contacts, I am definitely for wireless. But KNX can be perfectly combined with wireless, right?

Free@Home also has its own wireless window handles.
Otherwise, I would like the EnOcean window handles (without battery and invisible).
We wouldn't like the ugly wireless window contacts that you stick to the window. (ugly, battery-powered, and do not detect the handle position of the window)

I really don't see any added value of knx here.

ok so should we rely on radio communication?

Which radio system would you recommend?

should we wait for Matter where everything is compatible with each other? We are also moving into the house at the beginning of 2023 and that can easily be retrofitted.
In our house, 63mm deep flush-mounted boxes are installed everywhere

or should we go completely for Enocean?

Does anyone know if Enocean will also be compatible with Matter?

If you’re doing radio anyway, just move in first and see what you really want or need. First, think about power outlets, light fixtures, and other things that are very difficult to change later!

we already have that.

for lamps, we went with the standard version, 1-2 main lamps everywhere

we have distributed enough sockets. (but some will retrofit a few themselves after handover) e.g. converting a double socket into a 4-way socket or a single socket into a 3-way or 2-way socket.

we just made sure that the cable ducts for the sockets are everywhere and that you don’t have to chase or have to chase as little as possible

can change or crossover switches be easily converted to smart ones afterwards using wireless smart home retrofit solutions?

So you would recommend a wireless smart home for my requirements?

I'm just asking again to be sure. We have to tell the electrician tomorrow whether the additional bus wiring or Free@Home in the budget version (only blinds and weather station and bus cables laid everywhere) is desired or not.

Thank you very much for your help
