Just go to the KfW website. It says so there. KfW 55 is thus an old hat, "properly" efficient will be better subsidized. 55 also remains for renovations, which I really like. Because energy can actually be saved there.

They could have saved themselves the trouble and scrapped the whole thing directly in July. What a pity.

Will KFW55 for new buildings soon automatically become the legally required standard? Or will it remain at the "70" level?

It is still at the 75 level as the legal new build standard. To my knowledge, a review is planned for 2023 ==> I assume that 55 will then be defined as the standard.

The amendment of the Building Energy Act is being brought forward to 2022, which also involves an increase in the new building standard.

The renovation standard should be raised to the technical requirement ‚KfW Effizienzhaus 55‘. As a minimum standard for new buildings, ‚KfW 40 Plus‘ or the Passive House standard should apply,“

These are the proposals for the amendment. For example, from the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy. Let's see what actually comes...
