So I can rule out that the thermostats are swapped, the other rooms are heated normally and are all "normally" warm. You can also see this on the manifold, the one on the far right is for the bedroom, which, apart from the initial test, has never run and is therefore still almost virgin, of course :D

Thanks! It's reassuring to know that I'm not alone with this :) The attic studio would also be an option for us, but I actually don't want to "escape" from the nicely furnished bedroom. Then I might as well go to the basement, it's cool there too  I also believe you just have to get used to it. But out of habit that was somehow an advantage of a poorly insulated rental apartment, at least for the bedroom ;) Hehe, I think so too. If I don’t need them in the next few days with double-digit subzero temperatures, everything goes out.

Crazy what there is o_O I just googled it, and you quickly end up at so-called therapy blankets, which are also useful for anxiety or similar issues. Without having anxiety, I actually don't think the idea is that bad, because these extremely thin and light blankets somehow don't feel like a classic blanket to me.

They looked just as awful for me that quickly. It gets a bit worse and then I think it stays like that.

A new house is a change – also of habits. The bed is suddenly in the east and not in the north, the window lets in different things than the old one. Outside there is different light and different sounds. You can certainly get used to other sounds at night. Corona makes it possible that we suddenly have early and late shifts instead of normal day shifts – I never thought I could get up at 5 a.m. :P We now have a Dyson fan, summer and winter blankets, three pillows (2 are decorative and get thrown out at night) and sleep with the window tilted despite controlled residential ventilation. But we make sure the door is closed – the rest of the house stays nice and warm. We don’t use roller shutters.
