okay, I’ll try to draw it again. I think I already had that version, but double is better ;) Thanks for the input!! My husband also says it’s basically ideal and I’m trying again to find the proverbial jack of all trades  The wall between shower and sink will probably be half-high + glass; we don’t want glass all the way to the floor (we have that currently and it annoys us) Okay, the bigger window is on the plan. Originally it was 2 meters, but at the construction meeting the general contractor said it was too big and so it became a single-leaf 1.34 meter window instead of a double-leaf one. Is it really “that bad” with the window at the back, meaning that you can hardly see anything in the mirror (daylight for makeup, for example)?

I'm male, so little makeup experience

My impression is that daylight is not enough for makeup anyway. And as a man I already like good lighting when shaving, so we have a mirrored cabinet with all-around LED lighting. Daylight is rather secondary there. The only thing you might need to consider is the orientation regarding the sun's position. We have blinds, so it doesn't bother me either. As I said, it doesn't bother me, it wouldn't be a reason for me to throw the plan overboard if I otherwise like it, but everyone has to decide that for themselves.

Window 2m too big? Nope, why? I haven't looked at it that closely for you, we have 30cm more length and that fits perfectly.

So, I mean the entrance to the shower from the short side and not sideways as you drew it. Open to the toilet. Where is the window located then? You also have to distinguish between south-facing and north-facing windows. We have a side north-facing window, and I have to use light when putting on makeup, but not in between when applying cream or brushing my teeth. If my shadow were added there, it would bother me. My reflection would then be virtually seen in shadow, so rather darker. ....

I wouldn't mind a trapezoidal tub either and then maybe more like this kind of layout:

- 2 windows each 134
- The shower can really simply be separated with a 180 cm wall .. a tall towel radiator could also be installed there
- Washbasin with 180 cm width ... really spacious
- WC niche also 100 cm
- Both windows still easily accessible

Just quickly shown with the Alno kitchen planner ;).

The decorative element is cool :) I would also go for asymmetrical in the tub layout.

Not asymmetrical, but curved. I played around a bit with the shower... after I realized that the width is not 413 but only 313. No one corrects my sketch here either :( I like the shower there best... Personally, I would prefer the toilet there...
