Are you sure that the bathroom works like that at all? A guest toilet with 1.5m² is really way too small. At least the person sitting on the toilet in the guest WC can wash their hands while sitting. Even the solution presented by the construction expert is far too cramped (the 2nd one). This is just my opinion, but a bathroom should have 12m² and a guest WC around 2.5m² so that it is not too cramped.

I see it differently. 12sqm is 4sqm wasted space and 1.5sqm guest bathroom works great. Why do we have short toilets and very small washbasins? But with 1.5sqm that isn’t even necessary.

It’s possible that my sense of space is a bit different. I’ve also sat on a toilet that was only 1sqm (or even less due to boxed-in areas) and that was extremely cramped. Like in a sports car. Below the bowl (seat) and above the sink (steering wheel) :) However, that one even had a skylight with a crank hanging right in front of my face ;)

1sqm is also little. 1.5sqm is sufficient. 2sqm definitely. With the small size, that already makes a big difference. Bulkheads/boxes/roof slopes must of course be planned. That is also very important in such a small area.
