Just tap on them and you’ll hear if they’re firm. Are the pipes made of copper? Then they can stay in place.

We are gutting the bathroom ourselves, the pipes are 40 years old, so we would replace them. This IS the master bathroom. We bought an RHM. What else are we supposed to do with decorative tiles for the walk-in rainshower? They take it because they can. I have no time and in some places not the skills to do it myself.

Our 6m² bathroom also cost about 25k last year. The prices for the furniture, fixtures, etc... were about 20% higher than those of common online shops. With a complete renovation, a lot of working hours add up, which should not be forgotten. For us, the whole thing took about 4 weeks and there were 1-2 craftsmen on site every day.

In 4 weeks with 2 craftsmen, half of a shell construction will be standing.

What kind of fittings did you choose, walk-in shower? and bathtub?
