The gravel strip is 15cm below the base ledge. Due to Corona, we unfortunately complained about three/quarters of a year too late. Unfortunately, 5 years have already passed.

I can only recommend that you get an expert (not one from a sealing company) who examines and assesses the situation on site in its entirety. This will reveal possible courses of action. If the expert believes it would be beneficial for your house to carry out the sealing, the next step could be to seek legal advice before proceeding.

For example, case law states that defects concealed fraudulently do not expire after 5 years. Since you are laypeople, the statement that sealing could be omitted can be regarded as deception or at least incorrect advice. Whether and how this can be enforced must be checked by a lawyer in advance.

I would not blindly tear open the base myself now and apply an external seal; then you would have no further claims.

I would not allow myself to make any blanket statements about the sentences and drawings.

Best regards, Jann

Thank you - contacted the expert. I will first see what is going on, then what needs to be done, and then we will see who should have done what in advance before the damage occurred.

This will probably take a while - hopefully the damage won't get worse by then.

Thanks and please keep your fingers crossed for me.

One has nothing to do with the other at all.

Baseboard waterproofing here refers to the concrete slab that comes into contact with the ground. I do not see any efflorescence/damage there.

The peeled-off exterior plaster - front door - on the other hand, is the result of rising moisture because the requirement "system detail baseboard connection" has not been implemented. Naturally, the facade has no waterproofing there, which is why this 15 cm downward section must be "left free".
Paving right up to the house... then it looks just like that.
