Hello,
I have (like many others here) a problem with the dishwasher. We are getting a new Ikea kitchen with light Bodbyn fronts and already have a Siemens built-under dishwasher with a stainless steel front. Now we are considering buying a new dishwasher because, in my opinion, the stainless steel front looks sh... The problem is that the dishwasher is almost new...
I can't imagine how to install this dishwasher so that it doesn't look too awkward? Do you turn the feet all the way up (can they even go that high?) so that the dishwasher rests against the countertop? Then there is a huge gap of about 16 cm from the dishwasher front to the floor. Should I let the Ikea toe kick run through there? But what do I do with the 8 cm gap above that? And it looks bad if the height of the kitchen fronts and dishwasher don't match.
Or should you maybe leave the feet of the dishwasher all the way down and somehow close the gap between the dishwasher and the countertop with a panel?
I would appreciate a tip... Or is it better to get a new dishwasher?
Regards, Luucy
