Google once Bungalow 133 Hanse Haus. The parent unit is integrated, separated by the mini corridor, and absolutely barrier-free. Instead of the storage room, the show house has a staircase. We don't know the upper floor, maybe the area of a bungalow is enough. Actually, I see two building structures with you, one rectangular with 2 VG and a single-story annex branching off at a 45-degree angle. Similar to Schwörerhaus in Cologne-Fechen (only regarding the arrangement of the building structures).

If the ideas with you AND the planner are pretty blank, a sketch of the plot including orientation, possible neighboring buildings (even just indicated where houses stand or the view is blocked), as well as all wishes would be quite practical. So additionally desired garage, carport, terrace areas, balcony, access/path to the plot as well as all necessary rooms with priorities or wishes; currently I have taken along for now a parent's wing/bedroom downstairs, 2 children's rooms and an office upstairs.

No matter how good the floor plan is in isolation, there is still room for improvement..., it has to fit the plot as an overall concept ;)

I have now thought about solving the bedroom situation with a (flat roof) extension, so that we really only add the square meters of the bedroom to the house once.

The result strongly reminds me of an inflated holiday home.

Absolutely agree - it serves everyday habits. If film art and TV are important, then there are solutions without the compromise of sitting with your back to the garden, for example, a hidden motorized screen for the cinema. That also works with a sofa facing the window. Speakers can be planned in-wall in a new building; there are excellent systems for that. For casual viewing, a small, secondary screen is sufficient.
In so many other areas, thousands are spent to have better hinges in the kitchen or a Q3 wall finish, or lots of built-in ceiling lights Q1-Q4, or generous traffic routes, or...
I often find the creativity lacking there. If the solution of sofa facing the window has been weighed up, that’s fine. But I believe that people rarely really think about it.

I completely agree with that as well.

Thank you very much for your input! We only have one neighbor on the left (when looking at the property from the street), whose house is about 30m away from us. No other neighbors and also not buildable, as everything is outside the developed area. I haven't considered the upper floor at all yet, as I am even more clueless there.
