Oh yes: If you are already taking pictures: Can you also take one of the surface itself (if you were talking about bamboo parquet)? I've seen few meaningful pictures of the bamboo parquet so far...

These are old pictures from the construction phase:

The joint has since closed again. So I can’t photograph it. Current humidity in the house 45% rel.

The bamboo we chose is a steamed bamboo, which gets darker through the heat treatment and, according to the dealer, should not get the yellow tint like the light one. Bamboo is a grass, not wood.

However, I must also say that scratches, and we have plenty by now, can be seen very well. If we had known before how prone the floor is, we would have tiled.

Now we have felt under the sofa and carpets where people often stay.

Thank you for the pictures. Looks good.

Regarding the susceptibility to dents: Well, bamboo is actually one of the hardest "woods" (it's actually a grass) there is. If you choose a wooden floor, you should be aware that bamboo also does not protect against dents.

Is the parquet lacquered, oiled, or waxed? We currently have a lacquered cherry parquet in our rental apartment. Dents are very quickly visible there because the lacquered surface reflects light quite well. If you look against the light, you can see every unevenness. With oiled/waxed surfaces, everything is a bit more matte and dents are not as noticeable (and can also be repaired).

is painted... looks great, but is just susceptible, especially when you still have a construction site around the house. But the floor now lives with it.... in a few years the individual scratches will be forgotten and get lost in the overall hustle and bustle
