Normally, the beams have a bit of play. So for 90 posts, there are 95 beams.

You should screw the ground anchors in as vertically as possible. To compensate for deviations, the mounting angle has elongated holes. There are countless videos on the internet showing how this can be practically made.

These dowels are only available in 70 and 90mm as far as I could find them. And what are "Langlöscher"? Could you send a link to the videos via PM? I haven't seen any really good ones on YT.

External links are unfortunately completely forbidden here in the forum. Sorry, 91mm. If you search for it, you will find something. 1mm should also be enough over the length of a carport post. He meant elongated holes. I have to say, the ones I have found now do not have any. But as I said, with 91mm you should manage well. By the way, if I were you I would rather use 80cm deep concrete foundations. Such a covered shelter acts like a sail. Depending on the ground, the ground anchors will simply be pulled out of the earth, they have no weight after all. That little friction of the thread... well.

Thank you! Yes, concrete would certainly be more stable, but it makes the whole thing more complicated again, aligning the H-anchors in the concrete, etc. Since the carport is very close to a high fire wall, the wind there should not become too strong, and there are at least 9 threads, since I double the posts on one side of the carport to store firewood.

I wanted to ask again how this is meant. I can't really imagine a piece of wood inside the U-profile, because you screw it in by inserting a rod into the holes. That wouldn't be possible anymore if a piece of wood is inside.
