I don’t quite understand now. The office is on the upper floor, do you need two? Or is the attic not going to be converted?
I don’t see an office there, but maybe there was another suggestion for the upper floor? There are 2 children, parents and a bathroom. Or do you mean the bedroom on the upper floor should be the office? A small room would still fit between the two rooms, wouldn’t it?

The roof will be converted, but there it should be a large guest room for the grandparents who stay long, a shower bathroom, and the spacious attic cellar (we also need a little storage space), possibly also integrating the technology and washing machine there. Eventually my daughter will get her own floor with her own bathroom… :)
Oh dear, whoever you choose, please have proper drafts done by an architect. I don’t want to disparage your dedication but you want to get something decent for your money in the end.
I really thank you for your help, I am grateful to everyone who can assist me here and am open to suggestions. I must also say that I am somewhat disappointed with the architectural services of the companies so far. At the beginning I would have also expected a nice proposal, but basically it’s always a run-of-the-mill semi-detached house pulled out of the drawer and enlarged to our desired size. That’s pretty weak... at some point we named our wishes and ideas (technology attic, 4 rooms + bathroom on the upper floor, etc.) and also put on paper what we would imagine. Then they started to copy my drawings... I have rarely seen their own suggestions and ideas including reasoning, and that with practically all of them. Then we showed nothing more and decided to be unbiased and have someone draw themselves... that was sometimes really terrible. Winding, with hallway access to every room (yes, the upper floor is tricky with 4 living rooms). Would it really be the solution now to hire an independent architect for quite a lot of money even though every company included the architectural service?
