Are marine exhibitions generally very expensive?

We have actually been through this already. There is good profit made multiple times. That's how it is. Manufacturer, wholesale, craft as specialized trade. On the other hand, the [showroom] needs to be financed. For the craftsman, it is the cherry on top of an otherwise maybe tight, calculated order. The installation is not rocket science, often heard argument, but it still requires time and certain knowledge. Laying vinyl is also not a science if you know how. My advice, if you have enough money, buy from the craftsman including installation. If tight, then first take standard, have it installed, then throw it out gradually, depending on money, and replace with [Bauhaus] or similar. They also mediate installers. [Ikea] does as well.

Well, what you get when you have everything done by a professional can be seen quite well here in the “defects / warranty service” section. The times when professionals worked professionally seem to be over. It’s no coincidence that EVERYONE here recommends hiring an independent construction supervisor.

; If prices really vary as much as you say, buy online and have it installed. Craftsmen who don’t do it seem unprofessional to me personally. A good and capable professional will install everything for you. Sure, he can’t guarantee the nano-coating of your toilet! But if it wobbles or leaks somewhere, he will certainly want and be able to fix it. He also has a reputation to lose.

Buy online and that’s that

I think there are great things on the internet for less than half the exhibition prices. I see it this way: the craftsman gets his hourly wage for installation, and that way the deal is fair for both parties. Warranty is not worth double the price to me.

Especially since the warranty disclaimer is an old wives' tale. No one can effectively exclude this for their own work against a private customer. In case of doubt, however, one can be caught between two stools.

Oh dear, we now also have to do the sampling. If necessary, we will have to buy it ourselves, have it installed, and request a credit.

I am aware that the surcharges are really high, but the credits are very low. However, it is often still worth it.

Let's see

Hello, and then? No one will install it for you or for an exorbitant surcharge without a guarantee because they don't know the stuff from the internet (even if it were from Villeroy & Boch).

Personally, I was already apprehensive about changing a faucet (washing machine). The plumber who installed the expensive stuff for me came by and did it for a tenner.

That's how you build a connection.
