Bed normal, direct forest edge location (<10m), in an above-average large room with around 40 houses in the village. The measurement value still cannot be correct, is absolutely right about that.

: Panasonic multi-split inverter systems.

That is the definition of a central ventilation system. You can design it to be as inefficient as you like and you will never be forced to ventilate manually again. The standard values are always met, pure comfort.

If the length of the pipes bothers you, then make them as short as possible. Simply put everything in the ceiling of the ground floor/floor of the ground floor, then in the best case you have no pipe that is (much) longer than the diagonal of the house..

Whoever is really afraid, there are also systems that you can clean yourself. Invest an hour once a year and you have 100% certainty and reliably clean pipes. Or simply take a look with an endoscope camera after 2 years and put your worries aside.

Panasonic Multi-Split-Inverter-Systems
Is that the air conditioning unit? When I Google it, only "klima" comes up?
Can you give me more information?

Hello esteemed forum community!

Who can possibly help me with the positioning of the outdoor air/supply air and exhaust air of a central controlled residential ventilation system?

How important is the consideration of the cardinal direction, i.e. the orientation of the house?

Currently, the outdoor air/supply air is planned on the west side (street) and the exhaust air to the north.

The question is whether it would make more sense to swap these so that cooler and cleaner supply air is obtained and the exhaust air goes towards the street.

Is this consideration justified, nonsense, or possibly irrelevant?

Thanks in advance!

Not at all. Exhaust air facing the street may, however, be more sensible in order to have somewhat cleaner filters and thus extend the replacement intervals a bit.
