Opinions differ on this, and the climate technician will do it anyway the way he knows best.

Hey , thank you for the support, I have learned a lot here and with my half-knowledge I can somewhat follow the climate technician. In the end, he should decide which execution is best. One could also consider installing a surface-mounted duct on the facade in case it needs to be accessed later. A similar decision is pending for my photovoltaic line. Of course, nothing should happen in 20-30 years, but if it does, opening the insulation and cladding is very tedious.

This is how it was connected for us, in case that helps you at all:

What you see outside here is only the power cable. The cooling line goes directly through the wall and ends up inside in the living room. From there it is distributed. We originally planned to place the air conditioner next to the heat pump (just barely not in the picture to the right), but in the end, the length of the line did not fit.

Here is an older picture of the interior view. These are all WIP pictures; by now, everything is covered up. The lines run along underneath the suspended ceiling. And through the ceiling further into the upper floor (the bathroom is above there).

This is what it looks like underneath in the bathroom. The air conditioning lines are the white ones, to the right of the drain pipe.

Everything can be flush-mounted. Usually, you only have to access the connection points (if at all). These are mostly located directly at the devices. The cables in between are one piece. Therefore, you can safely embed them in the wall.

The pictures are very helpful, at your place they have chased, I would like to fasten electrical and cooling lines with clamps on the masonry, in front of the insulation. Is that possible or do you have to chase? Old building... Concrete chips and I only have one shell 16 cm, I am always very reluctant to chase it, I still have to hold the VHF.
