Thanks mycraft. What do you think about Sarara Ururu? Really expensive and big, and the local distributor said they discontinued it because the price-performance ratio doesn’t fit.

Since all of Asia is equipped with Chinese air conditioners and presumably the big brands also produce there or at least source components, there is nothing against TLC. I have 3 cheap air conditioners, the oldest has been running for 20 years, one broke after 14 years. I then replaced it with a brand-name device because I trust the power consumption information more there, trust the Ebay seller more, and wanted no problems/comments during installation.

I look at klimaworld, where you can compare well. Price-wise, between Daikin (also manufactured in China) and TLC worlds (double).

Maybe it helps to know that TCL is one of the largest electronics manufacturers worldwide. It is largely unknown here only because a different brand name is on it...
