Good evening,
I hope I can get some help from you regarding my issue. Our property is a corner lot. The old house was demolished and we built a new one on it. Now the problem is that the old house had the address from the street below and we have now been assigned the address from the street above, as we also have the entrance door and the garage there. Now my headache. Telekom does know my new address, but I can only test availability using the old address. My new address theoretically exists with Telekom, but with all other providers, only the "old" address is available to check availability and to conclude a new contract. How should I best proceed now? Are there any problems if I keep the contract under the old address? Or does anyone have another idea on how to solve this problem? I have already called Telekom's builder service at least 5 times. They only say the connection is in the house; everything else is not within their scope. I am currently a bit stuck. Many thanks in advance.
