Additional positions in house construction: are they useful and reasonably priced?

In addition to the spots, do not forget the WLAN access points. A small box must also be installed there to hide the cables behind.

Honestly, I’m not familiar with the company. However, we had an offer where the system for 155m2 + 75m2 basement was priced at around €30,000. Window rebate ventilations may be suitable in terms of indoor climate, but energy-wise I find them pointless. But that’s up to everyone to decide for themselves.

It’s not about the subsidy, but about the building energy law standard that is mandatory from 2023. And that will probably correspond to KFW 55.

I don’t know what has happened with prices since 2020, but at that time we had a Tecalor THZ504 in the contract; it is a combined unit of air-water heat pump, hot water storage, and central ventilation system, all in one and installed inside.
And we were charged about 17k€ extra for this device over the gas heating by the construction company. So for the heat pump + controlled residential ventilation, including all work. That’s why it seems extremely expensive to me.
I know that at the beginning we only had a central ventilation system offered, without the heat pump – I think that was around 5000€. But even then it’s hard to compare since it was an extra charge over the Lumos e (decentralized ventilation system), which was included as standard.

If the central controlled residential ventilation system is currently too expensive for you, you could possibly have ventilation ducts calculated/installed/insulated. Once things have calmed down a bit, you can get the controlled residential ventilation unit yourself and connect it to the duct system. After that, you can a) measure everything yourself (it's not rocket science) or b) commission a maintenance service or similar from a company that will set the air volumes for you right away.

You got off cheaply. Apparently, your first general contractor really charged the additional effort and not the new price of the device. In 2020, around €30,000 was called up as a surcharge for us.

Sounds cheap. However, the €30k was the total cost, not an extra charge.
