I just calculated the additional cost for the material of a Gira double socket instead of a single socket. It's not even 4€.

Hello,
we initially also had concerns about the additional electrical equipment. However, the builder assured us that enough sockets and switches were included.
The positioning was then done directly during the shell construction. Our electrician even suggested additional positions for sockets and switches.
Result: Everything included except the previously discussed "special items" such as network (+100 €), satellite (+50 €) and staircase lighting (+500 € including lights).
All of this was neatly installed in a large distribution box. There is also space for the router and other technology inside.

So far, with these listings, you can see that a double socket additionally costs between 0 and 150 euros? What does that bring you now?
Better just ask your electrician about the surcharges and that’s that. If you have already signed the contract, you have no other choice anyway. Otherwise, you can still try to negotiate the price down or outsource the work.

Hello,
I only selected the items from the catalog. But what alternative do you have? To start again yourself after the house handover and tear open the walls???

Catalog prices are not always the real prices. Usually, you can discuss this with your provider and they or their electrician will then make you an offer.

Thanks first of all for the many replies
& Lexmaul: That’s exactly what the forum is for....(?!?) As I wrote in the introduction, I’m looking for comparative values so that I can assess whether my electrician’s prices are expensive or cheap compared to others – and that’s what can be openly discussed, as I also settle directly with him. Whether and how he ultimately responds to that is another question.
I will post the prices or the results as soon as I have them.

The contractor wanted €39.50 for an electrical outlet. The order was made directly with the electrician: €26. Other things like wall outlets are similar. The electrician's prices are mixed calculations: double sockets are not charged, but the number of each individual one. (That's common practice in price calculations). By the way, we feel that the electrician earned the least of all trades.
