WDVS lasts between 25 and 35 years when done correctly. What I heard from executing companies and saw, also in conversations with the manufacturers, rather advises against it. Because only in very rare cases is a company found that does it correctly. Moreover, the cost-to-benefit ratio is not apparent. Consequential damage to the masonry, or later disposal and restoration costs, are especially unforeseeable in the distant future. In new construction, the entire house must be specially planned and executed for this purpose.
Today, home builders in my area pay up to 30,000 euros for facade renewal for buildings from 30 years ago.
I could write half a book here. I can only generally recommend insulating with natural insulation materials, which are increasingly coming onto the market, or building with a thicker wall. Wherever possible, no hazardous waste from oil, which still burns well, should be installed.
