200-300 sqm prefabricated house or passive house? Manufacturer? Construction company?

Since every future builder has had the same catalogs at home at some point, you must know that some like to build individually with their own architects. Schwörerhaus, Weberhaus (probably both too classic, although I can remember some good individual houses at Schwörerhaus, as I often browse through the homepages) or even Luxhaus will surely be pleased if someone with a good budget wants something special. If you say: Build it similar to a Huf-Haus for me, then they will do it - just it won't be a timber-framed house. What about Baufritz? Don't they also do timber framing? I would be biased to also look for a builder more in the southern regions - not every good home builder has a show house somewhere in the parks, so you might miss something if you only look where Mr. and Mrs. Everyman look. Or get yourself an architect - that’s obvious with a good budget! You probably have to fire up the Google machine after all.

We like the Huf Art 5, the only question is whether the price is justified and whether it might eventually be too much glass for us in terms of privacy?...

What other good FH and MH providers are there that build beautiful houses of a higher standard in the 200sqm category?
We have received some catalogs from FH providers, but most offer rather "simple" houses between 110 and 170sqm.
The typical FH builder usually doesn't want to spend more than 200k€, of course the providers adjust accordingly...

You can plan a wooden prefabricated house just as freely with architects according to your wishes. Then you also quickly end up at your desired 400k € for the house and the 200sqm living space. Our provider only builds according to free planning – there are no standard houses there.

Ours also builds freely. Otherwise, our individual solution would not have been possible at all.

So you can just go to any random architect and they'll just do it? You do hear a lot of terrible things...

I would definitely have the most important steps approved by an expert!

Construction defects in the foundation, high humidity with resulting mold infestation are my absolute nightmares!

since you already have quite concrete ideas and wishes, it shouldn’t be too difficult to implement them.
I myself have unfortunately not yet had the pleasure of building a house, but my neighbor’s prefab house was completed about 5 months ago.
To be honest, it didn’t really take that long. I believe it was a total of about 4 months until the handover of the keys.

The house has a total area of about 200 sqm, divided over 2 floors. Including underfloor heating, but with a pitched roof, 30° slope. Unfortunately, I can’t give you any information about the costs. However, I do know that the company is called Da Vinci-Haus and apparently has some show houses for viewing. Among others in Stuttgart and Frankfurt.
