One option would also be to place the entrance next to the carport and then move the bathroom and parents' bedroom to the right into the corner ... or rather parents' bedroom bottom right, bathroom above it, and children's room above that. The kitchen moves to the left towards the utility room, and the utility room moves north directly next to the entrance... The office/guest room is then upstairs on the south side.

No one gave you the advice to switch the children's room and the bedroom. I also had the rotation utility room-office-child or switch office-child in mind. The rest and sizes naturally need to be adjusted.

But the bathroom in the corner is not so great either .. The utility room could go there ... Except for the living room, everything can be rotated ... Even the living room can move to the right and displace the children's room. The office/guest room could then go to the top left corner. I would actually find the entrance next to the carport/garage more optimal ... Furthermore, I actually prefer a straight staircase upwards, but it would then be 4 meters long, right ... 1-2 steps would probably protrude into the living room, but that's right under the ceiling ... With a corner staircase you always have problems carrying things up, but it is more space-saving. Although good or intelligent storage options can also be created under a straight staircase. Do you think it is possible to build on the floor plan? That is, in terms of dimensions? Or does it have to be completely discarded?

We once asked for another rough draft that provides for the entrance on the north side next to the carport. For this, we drew the rooms 1 to 1 and cut them out to rotate them ourselves a bit. Although the cuts could change slightly... We already notice that we are not architects - grrrrr. But we try to support the architects as best as possible with our own arrangement. Or should one just let them continue for now and only describe what one could imagine?

So, four rooms plus stairs, I clearly find ours better than your architect's. Look. K.

Thank you very much .. Very clear .. As I said, it was a basis for discussion and we also want it changed. However, I definitely want to avoid a spiral staircase, since part of the attic will be used as storage and the other part facing south will be a kind of studio for the junior when he is older. He can’t even walk yet – grrr.
