We had said earliest in 6-10 years, exactly for that reason. But thanks for pointing out again how important that is

Sorry, what do you mean by the scale, that you should look at how much time you can invest in the garden and then check if the money is enough for that?
I had already written that the garden will take longer until it is the way we want it to be; a garden is never finished.

Regarding the wire mesh fences, if then with ribbons, since it is supposed to serve as privacy screen, see previous answer.
I think wire mesh fence and hedge is too much, especially considering the budget. Sure, you can put up the fence first and add the hedges later, but primarily we want the privacy screen "now."

Hedge is unquestionably needed. Ours has been standing for 12 months now.

You can use for individual areas as privacy screen e.g. sun sails, fast-growing plants like Chinese reed, peas, sunflowers, hollyhocks, etc. Not expensive, but not opaque.
Experiment with that as well.

1x the hedge
1x prairie garden with plants that grow 1.5 to 1.8 m high. We only planted it in autumn

That's exactly what we don't want, maybe later plant something that covers the fence (although I wrote earlier that I don't want that )

We would really like to have privacy screening in most of the garden.
What is a prairie garden? And what is that wood-earth tower?? Looks great.

The tower is a kind of raised bed and you can find it under Kartoffelpyramide. But you don’t have to plant anything in it. It’s not finished yet. Still need soil.

Präriegarten is a mix of perennials and grasses that tolerate heat and frost. Mulching is done with gravel, really thick. (Fehlt auch noch welcher) In 2 years everything should be grown over. Maintenance effort is very low. Blossoms and insect food almost all year round. Let’s see how it works in practice.

Go to the library (if it’s open again) and get yourself a stack of gardening books and get inspired. My garden is too small. I still need about 5000 sqm. And we’re far from finished.
