I definitely think it’s cool.
Is it more like a cottage garden with you because of the potato tower?
Oh yes, of course, the name Prairie already says that.
Sounds low maintenance.

Yes, we need books and magazines, but we had no clue how to go about it and wanted some input from experienced gardeners.

Honest low-maintenance, close to nature, cottage garden. A few vegetable beds yes, but no self-sufficiency. I have a bed with historic roses, with a few perennials and annual flowers in between, like they used to be in the old cottage garden. It doesn't have much to do with a real cottage garden like grandma had. Flowers were there for the insects. Pest control, attracting useful animals. The rest to feed the family. It doesn't matter what it’s all called. It has to be coherent. Bamboo doesn't fit with rubble stone,

I mean, if you imagine the recipe for a beautiful garden like one for a cake batter: then there always has to be at least as much time as money put in, otherwise it doesn’t taste good or becomes mushy. But I find fluffy gardens nicer. Of course. Original Exterior Design by Chantalles Beauty Nails without ribbons wouldn’t work at all. How could I, smarty pants, suggest such a thing? Eight nine ten, well what’s there to see?

Okay, when you said farmer’s garden, I really thought of grandma’s garden.
It must look great when everything is blooming. Yes, I agree with you, my pictures are just examples, you can also create everything in other materials and shapes.

Yes, everything must and should fit together, that's why I wrote that everything should develop little by little.
We just don't want to be constantly "under observation," to each their own Otherwise, no one would put complete hedges around their garden. (After all, after years they are also a complete privacy screen – because most have 2m high hedges, at least in our area).

Well, if this "their own" happens to be streak gardening ... A hedge is only truly complete with birdsong. What chirps in a plastic tape hedge? – maybe doodle chips from greeting cards?
